Pleated Velvet Slip Midi Dress

Velvet that shifts as you move. A pleated panel runs down the front of this slip dress, drawing a soft sheen from the pile, while a slit at the side lets the midi hem swing freely as you walk.

Korean velvet has a close, dense pile that feels plush against the skin and holds colour deeply, which is why the white reads clean and the wine red, black, dark green and orange look so saturated. Narrow shoulder straps and a mid-waist seam keep the line long and quiet.

Made for evenings that start with a drink and end late: dinner, a gallery opening, a wedding where you are a guest. Add strappy sandals and a small clutch, or layer a fine knit or tailored blazer over the top and wear it to lunch.
