The PU has a soft, slightly grainy texture that reads more matte than shiny in person. Weight is heavier than I expected for faux leather, so it hangs instead of clinging. My one gripe is the collar buckle sits a little stiff at first and needs breaking in. Fits close through the shoulders, so I am glad I checked the chart.
