Black gives crisp definition; brown keeps the effect softer and warmer. Both shades sit comfortably without a heavy, clumped feel, so the eye stays open and natural.

Start at the base of the lashes and wiggle the wand upward to the tips, coating each lash. Build a second layer while the first coat is still fresh for more volume, or use the tip to separate and lift the outer lashes. Let it set before blinking or moving on to the rest of your eye makeup.
