Cold mornings call for something soft to step into. A suede upper wraps the foot, and the inside is lined in artificial short plush, so the first moment outdoors feels warm rather than bracing.
The toe is rounded and the heel is a thick mid height of 3-5cm, which gives a little lift without asking you to balance on anything narrow. A side zipper runs down the outer edge: the shaft opens wide and closes again in one movement. Underfoot, a synthetic fur insole adds a further layer of softness, while the rubber sole is built to resist slipping on wet paving and packed snow.
Wear them with tailored wool trousers on the commute, or with a long knit dress on a slow weekend walk. The deep opening leaves room for a thicker sock when the temperature drops. Offered in beige and black, in sizes 36 to 42.
