A base step that gives foundation something to hold on to. Mineral oil and beeswax are blended into a firm balm that glides over the face and settles to a light finish with a little grip, so the makeup that follows sits more evenly and shifts less through a long day.
Drawn across the forehead, cheeks, nose and chin, the tinted solid softens the look of small surface unevenness and helps even the complexion before colour goes on. The tone is made for dark skin, so it melts in rather than sitting on top.
One end holds the balm, the other a blending sponge, so the whole step happens without fingers touching the product. Nothing to decant and nothing to spill: 7g of solid formula in a twist case that slips into a small bag or a carry-on for mornings away from home.

How to use
Begin with clean, dry skin. Twist the base to raise the balm and sweep it over the forehead, cheeks, nose and chin. Blend with the sponge at the other end until the surface feels even, then follow with foundation or concealer as usual. Replace the cap firmly after use to keep the stick clean.
