The toe is sharply pointed and cut low across the vamp, leaving the top of the foot bare above a slim stiletto heel. A platform of about 0.5 cm sits beneath the ball of the foot, the leather lining keeps the inner surface smooth, and a rubber sole meets the floor.
An evening shoe, at its best at a long dinner, a wedding or a birthday that stretches past midnight. Let a red pair sharpen black tailored trousers and a plain knit, or match a purple or blue pair to a slip dress in the same tone.

How to use
Pick your usual European size from 34 to 39; the pointed toe and low cut vamp leave the top of the foot bare, so a bare leg or a fine tight works best. Wear with tailored trousers, a slip dress or a midi skirt, and let the sequins sit against plain fabric. Reserve them for evenings and long dinners rather than all-day wear.
