Cold mornings begin more gently under a layer of fine wool. Inside, a smooth satin lining glides over hair rather than tugging at it, so braids, curls and sleek blowouts arrive at the office much as they left the house.
The knit is close and even, shaped into a rounded dome crown with a clean brimless edge. It sits lightly on the head at around 121-132 g and holds warmth for the walk between car and door. Nine shades run from white, beige and pink through wine red and yellow to green, dark flower gray, navy and black.
Wear it with a tailored coat on a weekday morning, with a quilted jacket on a weekend walk, or pulled low against the wind on a winter commute. The plain, unbroken surface reads as considered rather than casual, and layers neatly under a hood.
