The silk content, between 81% and 95%, gives the fabric a fluid drape and a cool, smooth feel in the hand, with a low sheen that shifts as you move. Warp knitting lends the cloth its softness and the easy way it folds into a knot.

Wear it close under a collar for a working morning, looser over a knit at the weekend, or as a narrow band around the hair. The modest scale sits neatly at the neck without bulk and slips into a pocket or bag once the afternoon warms up.

How to use

Fold the square on the diagonal, then roll it toward the point and knot it at the neck, letting the ends fall over a shirt collar. For a bag, fold the scarf into a flat band and tie it twice around a handle, letting the tails hang. Worn as a headband, keep the knot at the nape. The 53 x 53 cm square also works wrapped at the wrist or folded into a blazer pocket.
