The upper is a smooth artificial PU with a rounded toe and a clean, uncluttered line at the ankle. Beneath it, a thick rubber sole lifts you clear of wet paving and adds a grounded, steady stride. Each pair weighs between 520 and 580 grams, light enough to keep walking in.
Slip them on without laces or zips and pair them with straight-leg denim, a long wool coat or thick knitted tights under a skirt. They sit neatly with both tailored and relaxed outfits, and the medium upper height gives good coverage without crowding the ankle.
