A check that reads polished rather than costume. Narrow pleats are pressed into the fabric and fall from a high waist into a short, swinging hem that keeps its line from the first coffee to the last train home.
The shell blends cotton with polyester and viscose, so the pleats hold their shape while the skirt stays light on the body. A full polyester lining lets it glide over tights in winter and sit smoothly against bare legs in spring.
A zip closure keeps the waistband flat and tidy, which makes tucking in easy. Wear it with a fine knit and loafers for a study day, or with a plain white shirt and ankle boots when the evening runs longer than planned. The white is crisp and graphic; the black is softer and easier to dress up.
Cut in sizes XS to 3XL, with the waist measuring 61 cm at XS through to 84 cm at 3XL and the hem falling between 37 cm and 39 cm. These run small against US and EU labels, so take the larger size if you sit between two.

How to use
The skirt sits at the natural waist and follows the size chart closely, so measure your waist and hips before choosing. Tuck in a fitted knit, a plain shirt or a slim camisole to keep the pleats undistracted, and add opaque tights and loafers when the weather turns. Sizing runs one to two sizes smaller than US and EU labels, so go up if you fall between two. The hem finishes at mid-thigh at 37-39 cm, which suits flats and low heels alike.
