The set is styled as one costume: a top and shorts in 85% polyester, with a single sleeve, a leg cover and a headpiece to finish the line. Worn together the pieces read as a single look; taken one at a time, each brings a flash of shine to a plain black base.

Pull on the top and shorts first, then slide the sleeve and leg cover into place and settle the headpiece last. One size. The white bra pictured is not included, so choose a base layer you already own. Wear all five pieces together for stage and club sets, or take one piece at a time against plain black.

In hot and humid weather, the fabric doesn't stick to my skin like some synthetics do. It stays smooth and the sheen doesn't get dull from sweat. After a few hours, though, the top feels a bit clammy, so I take a break to cool down.
