A band of lace rests high on the thigh and stays where you put it. The slip-resistant grip keeps the top flat against the leg, so the lace holds its line from the first coffee through to the walk home.
The leg is sheer enough to read as a soft tint against skin, and the lace edge lies smoothly rather than digging in. A small pocket, about 10cm wide, sits at the top: enough for a key, a folded note or a lip balm when you are travelling light.

How to use
Choose by the measurement closest to your leg: S for 50-55cm, M for 55-60cm, L for 60-68cm, going up if you fall between two. Roll the sock on from the toe, then smooth the lace band flat against the thigh and press the grip into place before straightening the leg. Style them under a pleated skirt or knit dress, or with shorts and ankle boots; keep the lace away from rough seams and hook-and-loop fastenings so the fibres stay clean.
