Soft microfiber meets damp skin kindly and takes the chill off bare shoulders. The hood drops over wet hair, the fabric blocks the breeze, and the loose line from shoulder to hem leaves your arms free to move inside it.
At around 430 g it slips into a beach bag without adding weight, which makes it the piece to reach for on swim days, boat afternoons and early pool laps. Eighteen colourways keep it easy to match to your swimwear or to a friend's.
Pull it on straight from the water with the hood up, change beneath the loose drape, then knot it closed for the walk back to the car. Wear it over swimwear on the sand or over shorts and a tee after a shower at the pool. The cut runs roomy through the body to leave space for changing; fold it flat into a beach bag between trips.

In pictures, the robe hangs straight and the hood adds a nice shape without looking bulky. The fabric has a slight sheen that catches the light, which I didn't expect. It photographs well, though the lighter colors can look washed out in bright sun.
