Two halves of a heart, each shaped into a skull, meet in the middle and stay there by magnet. Worn at the collarbone, it reads as a small, deliberate streak of rebellion rather than a costume piece.
The pendant and chain are cast in alloy with an electroplated finish. Take the gun black for a dark, smoky tone, or the ancient white for something paler and more weathered. The chain runs in a fine cross-link pattern, so the heart sits close to the throat and stays there through a long evening.
It layers cleanly over a black roll neck, a plain white tee or the neckline of a slip dress, and it makes a natural shared piece between two people who like the same darker edge. At 25g it is light enough to forget you are wearing it.

How to use
Bring the two magnetic halves together at the centre of the collarbone and let the heart sit flat against the skin. Wear it alone with a crew neck or layer it over a black knit or a plain tee for contrast. Keep it away from perfume, lotion and water, and wipe with a soft dry cloth after wearing to protect the electroplated finish.
