A small gleam of pearl against a dark lapel changes the whole line of a jacket. Each brooch is woven by hand, pearl by pearl, into a soft clustered shape that catches the light without asking for attention.
The frame is copper plated in gold, warm next to the pale lustre of the pearls, and the arrangement has the vintage spirit of a piece found in an heirloom jewellery box. At 40g it sits with a little presence and holds its shape against wool, silk or a fine knit.

How to use
Pin through a lapel, collar or scarf knot, taking care to pass the pin through the outer layer only so the fabric beneath stays unmarked. Style it against a plain jacket, a dark coat or a chunky knit, where the pearls show best. Store it flat in its pouch when not worn to keep the woven shape intact.
