Frosted High-Heel Ankle Boots

A tall, narrow heel redraws the line of a trouser hem or a bare ankle. These short boots stand on an 8.5cm heel with a 1.5cm platform beneath the toe, a pairing that carries the height with more balance than a single stiletto sole.

The upper carries a frosted, brushed finish that reads matte rather than glossy, catching light softly across the vamp and shaft. Inside, velvet lining meets the foot with a smooth, warm slide, so the boot goes on cleanly over tights or a bare leg.

Wear them to the office with a straight trouser that breaks just above the ankle, or after dark with a slip dress and a fine chain. The short shaft keeps the ankle visible, which flatters a cropped hem and a midi skirt alike.
