Beads are graded A or AA and offered in seven sizes, from the delicate 3-4mm to the more pronounced 9-10mm, so you can choose the scale that suits the piece you have in mind. A single string weighs between 30g and 56g depending on the size you pick, giving generous room for a full necklace, a pair of drops or several smaller projects.
Use them to rebuild an heirloom strand, to add a pearl between metal links, or to make a first piece of jewellery by hand. Smaller beads sit neatly on fine chain and wire; larger ones carry a roomier setting or a knotted silk cord beautifully.

How to use
Choose a bead size by the scale of the finished piece: small sizes for earrings and fine chain, larger ones for a statement necklace or a knotted strand. Lay the beads out before stringing so you can balance the shapes along the length. Thread onto beading wire, silk cord or a headpin, knotting or spacing with metal findings as your design requires.
