Details
A long sweep of flowers, drawn in at the back. The bodice crosses into a lace-up fastening that lets you pull the fit close, while a V neckline opens the collarbone and leaves the shoulders bare.
From the high waist the skirt falls straight, then flares into a fishtail hem that moves as you walk. The polyester has a smooth, light hand, so the line stays clean through a long dinner without any heaviness.
Wear it to a summer wedding, a garden supper or an evening on holiday: flat sandals while the sun is up, a heeled mule once the candles are lit. The open back wants skin left bare and jewellery kept fine.

How to use
Draw the lace-up back in until the waist sits where you want it, then knot and tuck the ties. The high waist and fishtail hem work best with a heel or a slim sandal and a short jacket for cooler evenings. Wash cold on a gentle cycle and hang to dry, keeping the lacing loose so the bodice holds its shape.
