Details
Christmas morning looks better with a little theatre. These printed bags gather a present, a jar of preserves or a small token and turn the handover into part of the ritual.
The plastic is double-layer at 12 mils, so the sides stay upright on a table and the base carries weight without bowing. Three prints do the decorating for you: a Christmas scene, an all-over Santa Claus pattern and a deep green style that suits a more traditional tree.
Two sizes cover most of the season. The smaller suits jewellery, sweets and stocking fillers, while the larger takes folded knitwear, boxed sets and hostess gifts. Keep a bundle in the hall cupboard for the neighbours, the school fair, the office secret swap and the table setting on the day itself.

How to use
Open the bag by easing the sides apart from the flat base. Settle the gift inside, folding clothing or tissue around it so the print sits straight. Press the top edges together and add a ribbon, a tag or a sprig of greenery if you like. Store the remaining bags flat, away from heat, until the next round of presents.
