Faux Leather Moto Coat

There is a certain posture that comes with a moto jacket, and this coat carries it through a longer, regular-length line. The surface is smooth faux leather with a low, soft sheen, so it reads polished rather than loud.

Long sleeves and a plain shoulder keep the shape clean, and the hem falls to a regular length of about 50cm. Brown is deep and warm, the sort of tone that lifts cream and camel; black stays quiet and sharp against denim, grey and white.

It works hardest in the in-between months. Throw it over a fine knit and tailored trousers for a weekday morning, or over a slip dress and heels when the evening turns cool. The weight sits lightly on the shoulders without feeling flimsy.

Sizing runs small: the S to XL range corresponds roughly to one to two sizes below European and American sizing, so check the measurements before you choose and go up if you sit between two.
