A smooth, even base begins with the right tool. This double layer sponge presses liquid and cream formulas into the skin with a light tapping motion, softening the look of edges as you go.
The two-layer build gives it a firm feel in the hand and a cushioned surface against the face. Two assorted colours let you keep one in your makeup bag and one on the dressing table.
Use it for foundation, concealer or cream blush, then rinse with mild soap after use. At 10g it stays light in the hand through a full face of makeup.

Press foundation or concealer into the skin with short tapping motions, working from the centre of the face outward. Use the rounded side for cheeks and forehead, and the edge around the nose and eyes. Rinse with mild soap after each use and leave to air dry.

I have a patch on one cheek that reacts to almost everything, so I was careful with this. Tapping the foundation in with the rounded side instead of rubbing kept the area calm. The edge is soft enough around my nose too, though I rinse it very thoroughly after each use.
