An open crochet knit in white cotton, cut long and finished with tassels. Layer it over swimwear and let the breeze through.
Details
Sun on your shoulders, salt drying on your skin, and a long white layer that moves with you from the water to the shade. Open crochet lets light and breeze pass straight through, so it sits lightly over swimwear.
The cloth is 99% cotton at a 230 g weight, enough body to hold the knit's shape while it still falls softly. A tasselled hem adds about 5cm of fringe to the bottom of a 135cm length.
Sleeves reach roughly 24cm, covering the shoulder through the brightest hours of the afternoon. One size drapes loosely across a range of figures: knot it at the waist for a dress line, or leave it open over a bikini on the walk back from the sea.

How to use
Pull it on over swimwear and leave it loose for the beach bar, or knot a belt at the waist to shape a dress line for lunch. The one size falls to about 135cm including the tassels, skimming the ankle on most frames, with 24cm sleeves covering the shoulder.
