A split nail catches on a sleeve, a zip, the edge of a page. A thin line of this clear gel settles into the crack, draws the two sides back together and dries to a smooth film that lets the nail grow on undisturbed.
The finish is glossy and near invisible, so it passes for bare nails or sits quietly under colour. Once set, polish glides over the top as though the crack were never there. The gel comes in a 12 g tube with a fine applicator tip, which makes a little go a long way.
It works on natural nails and over gel or acrylic sets, which makes it useful between appointments or on the day a corner gives way before a dinner. Nothing professional is needed: no wraps, no lamps, no salon visit.

How to use
Start with a clean, completely dry nail and press the split edges together. Run a thin line of gel along the crack with the applicator tip, then smooth the surface so it sits flush with the rest of the nail. Let it set fully before filing lightly or applying polish. Cap the tube tightly after use, and reapply a fresh layer if an edge begins to lift.
