Details

A crisp cat eye, drawn without a wavering hand. Rest the card against the lid, follow the cutout with liner or shadow, and lift the line into a shape that matches on both sides.

Two transparent PVC cards carry ten outlines between them, one standing cat and one crouching, so a fine flick or a deeper wing comes down to choosing the curve. The plastic wipes clean between shades and slips into a makeup bag without bulk.

Use a liquid liner for a sharp edge, or press shadow into the gap for a softer smoke. Either shape works on a bare lid in the morning and under a heavier line for evening.

How to use

Place a card against the outer corner of the eye, lining the curve up with the lash line. Fill the cutout with liner or shadow, then lift the card away and blend the edge if you want a softer finish. Wipe the PVC clean before switching shades.
