Burgundy Plaid Pleated Mini Skirt

Pleats that hold their line from the morning commute through to a late dinner. A burgundy plaid drops in crisp, even folds from a mid-waist band, and the short hem keeps the whole shape lively rather than prim.

The shell is a polyester blend with a measure of chlorofibre, woven so the check stays sharp instead of blurring, and a light acrylic lining smooths the inside against tights or bare legs. Stitching at the waist gives a tidy finish where a tucked-in shirt sits.

Wear it with a fine roll-neck and loafers for a working day, then swap to ankle boots and a slim knit after dark. The pleats move well as you walk, so it reads polished in a meeting and relaxed over a drink.
