Cutaway sides and a hollow back give the sandal a spare, barely-there line, and the mesh lining sits softly against the skin. There is nothing to fasten: the shoe slips on in a second and leaves the ankle free.

How to use
Step in and go: the open back and shallow vamp mean no buckles or laces to see to. Wear them with cropped linen trousers and a cotton shirt for warm city days, or with swimwear and a light cover-up at the shore. The flat, low sole sits neatly under wide-leg trousers and midi skirts as well as shorts.
