Belted High-Neck Batwing Coat

Wrap up in something with a little drama to it. The collar rises softly at the neck, the sleeves fall in a wide batwing curve, and a self belt pulls the shape back in at the waist, so a heavy winter layer still reads elegant rather than bulky.

Cut from a thick polyester fabric with a smooth, dense hand, it holds its line over a knit and keeps the cold at arm's length. A button front runs clean down the centre, and the solid colour keeps the look quiet enough to wear with anything already in the wardrobe.

Slip it over a fine turtleneck and tailored trousers for a working morning, or over a slip dress and boots for a long dinner. It comes in khaki, white, black, navy blue and brown, and in sizes S to XXL. These sizes run small by European and American standards, so take the larger of two if you are between.
