Details
Cloudy water, bristles stiff with old foundation, a sink full of rinsing. A five-minute cycle takes that over, turning each brush through water and cleanser while you get on with something else.
Clip a brush into one of the holes in the cleaning lid and the head turns 20 seconds forward, pauses for two, then turns 20 seconds back, repeating for five minutes. Touch controls and a digital display set the program, and the separate drying bay runs for 2 or 5 hours with a UV light fitted inside it.
Several hole sizes across the cleaning and drying lids hold powder, foundation and eyeshadow brushes securely, and the silicone mat loosens larger particles of product before washing. Once dry, brushes go back into the unit rather than loose in a drawer.
At 17 x 11.8 x 17.8 cm and powered by USB through a 99 cm Type-C cable, it earns its place on a dressing table or bathroom shelf. A thoughtful gift for anyone who keeps a full set of brushes in rotation.

How to use
Seat the cleaning drum, fill with water no higher than the maximum line and add a little brush cleanser. Slot one brush at a time into a matching hole in the cleaning lid, select the wash cycle and let it run for five minutes while the head turns forward and back. Move the brush to the drying bay and choose 2 or 5 hours. Store brushes in the unit once dry. Intended for brushes only, not sponges or powder puffs.
